Publicity and Seminar Days Start At EUL…

Within the frame of “Publicity and Seminar Days”, the European University of Lefke will conduct a range of activities and make contacts with  high schools in T.R.N.C. between 21 February-11April 2011.

Within the scope of the activity programme, visits and publicity activities were conducted in high schools located in Güzelyurt and Lefke, namely: Lefke Gazi High School, Cengiz Topel Industrial Vocational High School, Güzelyurt Türk Maarif College and Güzelyurt Kurtuluş High School on 21 and 22  February 2011.

In the seminar, the Vice Dean Doç. Dr. Münevver Ç. (Corporate Communication and Social - Cultural Affairs) stated that universities are not only academic institutions but also institutions contributing socially and culturally to their countries and to the places where they are active. She also told that universities are institutions where dynamic processes start. In addition, Bektaş stated that while the EUL offers widely distributed modern education in cooperation with internationally known universities, it acts responsibly to maintain and develop its international academic standards. She also added that the EUL offers 6 associate, 30 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate degree programmes.

The publicity and seminar days, which received a lot of attention and are intended for high schools in T.R.N.C., will also continue to take place in other high schools.
