This course deals with the microeconomics issues. Microeconomics investigates how an individual makes decision as a consumer, how a unique firm makes decision as a producer and how their decision effect each other in the market.  In this frame throughout the course topics as follows are examined: Capitalism and free market, full employment market, the theory of the consumer choices, production technologies and costs, production and price in the market.

Students work on a group project, make oral presentations and complete a technical report.

The course provides the future health-care administrator knowledge as follows : management oversight of the design, installation, and operation of information systems in a health care setting; productive utilisation of information for strategic planning; executive decision making; and managerial control. Specific topics include: computer and computer network terminology and concepts; access and retention of image-based records-a unifying principle; information  technology for health care; health information system applications;  health care information processing standards; features and components comprising an integrated health information system. Students work on a group project, make oral presentations and complete a technical report.
