Economics - General Information

The aim of this undergraduate program is firstly, to provide a fundamental understanding of the skills and techniques assential in a competitive and global economic environment, and secondly, to enhance the student's ability to critically appraise research material whilst at the same timedeveloping his or her power of analytical reasons.

The students graduating from the program are well prepared not only for careers in the economic sphere and related areas, but are also given expertise that range from the fields of management, industry and the public sector to academic employment.

The program provides the student with a broad based introduction to the fundamental areas of the study and essential concepts and techniques relevant to the business and economic environment. The programme also encourages students to acquire background knowledge of other social sciences.
