Student Union

Student Union is a structure that works closely with the Dean of Students, and it works on the basis of “students helping students”. Student Union enables students to contribute to the contemporary development of the university. Besides organizing educational and research activities, the Student Union ensures a democratic and liberal environment, where it is ensured that students’ voices and opinions are heard by the various departments of the university, including the higher standing authorities.

Student Union is restructured every year, to make sure that all interested students are involved. This structure is formed by letting students in all departments choose among themselves candidates who in turn choose a representative of each faculty. Faculty representatives form a Student Union. The Student Union President takes part in university senate meetings.

Student Union facilitates healthy communication process between the student body and administrative/academic staff of the university, and at the same time it permits students to showcase and employ their best talents and skills for the well being of the fellow students.
