in North Cyprus. I have been teaching English Language for
three years. I graduated in English Language and Literature at
Eastern Mediterranean University in 2006. I have an MA entitled
“Teaching English Speakers of Other Language”, from Canterbury

Recently I have been to many conferences. Firstly I attended a
workshop called “Leaders For Inclusive Free of Bias Education
Camp” which is partly funded by the European Union and supported
by the KAYAD community centre in Derry/Londonderry, Northern
Ireland, where we discussed “multiculturalism” including debates
on gender issues, stereotypes, and social clashes between the
two societies. (Teachers from the northern and southern part of
Cyprus and Northern Ireland participated in the education camp.)
Recently, I attended a conference called “Education and
Citizenship in a Globalizing World” Institute of Education,
University of London where I had the opportunity to experience
and listen to many experts in this field and to contribute my
knowledge in this area.)
