All work for the Master’s degree was done in residence on the Riverside campus. The Master’s degree program was completed after taking several courses in two years and ending with a comprehensive examination in the field of ‘Horticultural Science’.

6.2 PhD Thesis Supervised

The title of the Ph.D thesis is ‘Comperative Studies on the in vitro Retention of Respiratory Control (RC) by Mitochondria from Ripening Fruit and Rat Liver Tissues’. The degree Doctor of Philosophy as granted was not merely certification of having fulfilled technical requirements such as fundamental courses mostly related with the field of ‘plant physiology’ but also with the broad technical areas in the field of physiology of commodities ( fruits, vegetables and flowers, etc.) at pre-harvest and post-harvest.
