Dear Students,

The European University of Lefke is a non-profit university founded in 1990 by the Cyprus Science Foundation. The EUL is situated in the Lefke region, one of the paradise corners of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus that is settled on the hills of a bay with an enchanting atmosphere. It is an ideal student town with its natural beauty and historic sites, fantastic view of the Mediterranean, shining with different shades of blue, and a calm and peaceful environment.

All degree programmes and diplomas at the European University of Lefke are accredited by the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Turkey (YÖK). Being a fully-accredited university is the fundamental indication of our quality of education. 

We believe in the universality of knowledge and within this visional framework we carry out continuous cooperation & collaboration activities with national and International Universities. The experience and knowledge our Academic staff gains through the various collaborations make us offer high quality education of international standards.  

Academic programmes offered at EUL are designed according to the dynamic needs of the business world.   EUL has taken tremendous leaps and has managed to maintain its vision and mission to train visionary individuals who will not only survive in the global market but who will become some of tomorrow’s important leaders.  

With predominantly international members of academic staff and a young, dynamic professional group aimed at high quality administration, EUL has proven to give paramount importance to academic quality. EUL also continues to fulfill its mission of maintaining and improving international academic standards by enhancing collaborations and agreements with other well known international organs.

The EUL strives to constantly increase the quality of education, thanks to the variety of laboratories and research centers, as well as the life standards on Campus by providing various venues, such as the Conference Halls and the Sports Centre, to students to make use of their free time so that they conduct different social, cultural, and sports activities in a creative and dynamic manner.

The EUL offers students affordable and quality accommodation in its modern and comfortable Campus Dormitories tailored to students needs, and at the same time carries out its social mission by providing a variety of scholarships for students to benefit from.

Our student clubs prove an excellent venue for fulfilling students’ needs and requests for social and cultural activities on a more participative platform whereas the Students Dean takes the responsibility of acting as a bridge between the administration and the students by generating different solutions that would make life on Campus more comfortable.
