PhD in Management Information Systems
PhD program for Management Information Systems aims to provide students with the abilities of following the developments in the field of Management and Informatics and combining them with organizational structures and management ideas; and the abilities of interpreting, analyzing and synthesizing via examining scientific problems and data within their own disciplines and in interdisciplinary fields. ┬áIn this context, students are offered lectures in areas such as computer and network technologies, database, artificial intelligence, statistics, and marketing. The content of the program is intended to improve the technical and social skills of the students and provides the opportunity to obtain results by emphasizing the importance of environmental factors in specific problems. The graduates of the program can find employment as a scientist and researcher who have gained the ability to conduct independent researches in universities, public institutions and in research-development based companies.
PhD program consists of 7 courses, a PhD qualification exam after the completion of the courses, a seminar and a thesis.
