New Media Journalism

The intensification of national and international news flow in the globalizing world increases the responsibility of those working in the field of journalism. Journalism is the name of the profession that provides the dissemination of news to large masses in an objective way by researching an event or a curious subject in depth.

Although journalism, has been moved to different platforms within the framework of developing technologies, it aims to educate students who will carry the mission of newspaper and journalist. The medium of the journalism department is English. The journalism department offers education as a four-year program that includes theoretical knowledge as well as applied knowledge that students will use in the sector after graduation. It is also envisaged to train professionals who will work in the field of internet journalism, which is one of the most important channels of the new media, as well as newspapers and magazines, which are the written channels of the traditional media.

The journalism department program, which has been prepared considering the changes and transformations in all fields, aims to educate qualified personnel who will carry out every stage of the news and can perform this profession in an international framework in order to ensure that the most accurate knowledge is delivered to people.
