Media & Communication Systems
The Department of Media & Communication Systems programs aim is to prepare students to investigate how media-related activities, institutions, goods, and technologies influence how we interact with people, communicate, and see the world. In addition to learning how to create a short film or podcast, students can also analyze media messages that promote social change, look at the role that algorithms and data play in advertising and our larger culture, look into how media technologies affect our daily lives, or take a behind-the-scenes tour of various media industries.
