Accounting Information Systems
The Accounting Information Systems department incorporates a general business background with an emphasis on management information systems and accounting. Graduates will understand the complications of the accounting profession while examining in detail the technology that helps businesses run. This program aims to teach students how to design a centralized financial information system to process accounting data to make the job of accountants efficient and effective. At EUL, graduates will acquire knowledge to build systems to collect, store, manage, process, retrieve and report financial data in order to produce financial statements and manage inventory.
Students are required to take classes not only on accounting but information systems as well. Accounting Information Systems degree will open the door to many careers in information systems, accounting, and finance. Graduates can pursue careers as accountants, auditors, support specialists and system analysts.
