Medical Imaging Techniques (Turkish)
Medical Imaging represents the demonstration of inner structure by using various techniques.
The aim of Medical Imaging Techniques Associate Degree program is to bring up qualified medical imaging technician in the use of preparation and positioning of the patient for medical imaging equipment and techniques such as Computed Tomography, PET-CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Digital X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Digital Angiography devices used in radiology, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine, as well as their maintenance. Medical imaging technicians can be occupied in conventional X-Ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nonvascular interventional radiology units of state and private hospitals. The technicians can also work in the departments of nuclear medicine and radiotherapy, private hospitals, special imaging centers and clinics.
The medium of instruction is Turkish.
