Computer and Information Systems has gained importance rapidly in recent years in parallel with technological developments and has become an indispensable concept for all fields of science. As a versatile discipline, it includes different academic disciplines such as artificial intelligence, mathematics and computer science. Computer and Information Systems aims to regulate the flow of information within and between systems in these disciplines in a healthy way. For this purpose, it performs functions such as collecting, classifying, storing, processing, transmitting and presenting information. As a profession, Computer and Information Systems aims to provide the professional skills necessary for the development and use of Information Systems. It is necessary in all disciplines where these systems are used, especially health, law, business, education and communication.
Today, when the concepts of information and communication technologies and computer sciences are considered together, Computer and Information Systems has now become an indispensable choice in all fields of science. Considering different disciplines such as health, science and engineering, business administration, education and law, it is seen that these disciplines also benefit from information technologies and processes. In this context, Information Master’s Programs are completely interdisciplinary.
In the information age and information societies, there is a great need for individuals who have been trained in Computer Information as well as their own field of expertise and researches on these subjects. Briefly, Computer and Information Systems Master’s Programs will lead to the training of different and qualified experts for the needs of the society for undergraduate graduates of different fields in order to train individuals with this equipment and to encourage interdisciplinary research studies.
