The Master’s Program in Economics is designed to serve the need for a graduate degree for professional economists, government officials, and economic consultants. The objective of the program is to provide advanced training in economic theory, applied economic analysis, and quantitative methods for the analysis of economic problems and the design of economic policies.

Candidates for the Master of Arts degree in Economics are required to complete 7 courses (21 credits) a seminar and a thesis. The seminar and thesis requirements are without credit. The thesis will have to be submitted for the approval of a thesis jury.

The non-thesis graduate program in Economics is also available with requirements that include 10 courses (30 credits) and a project.
