Animal Welfare Committee
In accordance with Article 27 of the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific Purposes Regulations, the Animal Welfare Committee advises staff on all matters related to the care, accommodation, and use of animals. The Committee ensures that the principles of replacement, reduction, and refinement (3Rs) are applied, monitors project outcomes to safeguard animal welfare, oversees internal processes for reporting and follow-up, and provides guidance on rehoming and socialization of animals.
