“Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Panel” was held by the European University of Lefke (EUL) the Faculty of Health Sciences.  Panel took place on Friday, June 19th at Lefkoşa Merit Hotel, which was done in two sessions.  Physiotherapy specialists, officials of the university medical and health departments and the health sector workers participated in the panel, besides Vice President Minister of Economy, Tourism, Culture and Sport, Menteş Gündüz, EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen, and TR Lefkoşa Embassy Commercial Counsellor, Harun Gazali Ceren.

EUL Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ruhi Selçuk Tabak, made the opening speech of the panel to which academicians, who are working in the health field at some of the universities in Turkey and Cyprus, contributed.  Tabak, in his speech, put emphasis on the fact that Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Panel, which was held for the first time in TRNC by EUL, is organized  with an attempt to present new rehabilitation practices to health professionals and public to primarily solve the problems related to respiration which is mostly seen in all societies and increase people’s life quality.  Tabak remarked that 11 local and foreign speakers, who are specialists in their professions, will share new information and new practices about the subject accordingly and address solutions to experienced cardio-pulmonary problems by way of scientific platform.
