World-renowned chef is at EUL
EUL has included the world-famous and the founder of EKS(Eyüp Kemal Sevinç) Kitchen Academy, Eyüp Kemal Sevinç, in its academic personnel.
The European University of Lefke (EUL), School of Tourism and Hotel Management and Gastronomy Department, counted Eyüp Kemal Sevinç, who is the founder and the chief of EKS Kitchen Academy, in among the faculty memebers in 2014-2015 Academic Year Spring Semesters.
Istanbul EKS Kitchen Academy founder and owner, Turkey Cooks National Team ex-member, famous and renowned instructor, and executive chef Kemal Eyüp Sevinç is teaching the 3rd and 4th grade Gastronomy students in the Gastronomy Department Kitchen. Chief Sevinç, who took the transferring philosophy adopted by developing vision regarding the Kitchen Culture to the next generation as a mission, will share his knowledge with EUL students in educational institutions which he has established under the name EKS Kitchen Academy. Sevinç will provide practical menu training, which especially belongs to “Mediterranean” and “Asian” countries’ cuisine.
Sevinç began culinary profession in 1991, which was the father’s profession, brought different perspectives and many doctrines to the Turkish kitchen by covering many long distances in the profession, in in a short time. Chief, who participated in domestic and foreign food competitions, won more than 100 medals, trophies and awards, is also working as a specialist jury since 2001 in the international professional cooking contests and in the regional culinary competitions that are organized in Turkey.
