Lefke

Lefke is a small town located below the Trodos Mountains. It is famous for its citrus fruits and citrus groves. The actual campus of the European University of Lefke is situated between the sea and the mountains of the region.  Spectacular sea and mountain views can be seen from all areas of the campus. The Lefke area is full of history, culture, and natural beauty.  Students of EUL can discover nearby historical ruins, go swimming at any one of the nearby beaches, enjoy amazing views from mountain tops or by the seashore.  There are countless cultural activities and events that occur through the year in Lefke in which students can participate. There are also many shops, cafes, and restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance from the EUL campus.  Students can eat, drink, or read at seaside cafes and restaurants, or shop along the main road of this friendly town.
