As a non-profit organization, European University of Lefke offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities and tuition fee reductions that have become a great incentive for students.
- Scholarships for students who have brothers or sisters at EUL (50% scholarship)
The EUL also offers sibling discounts for prospective students whose brothers and/or sisters are already enrolled in the European University of Lefke. In accordance with the EUL by-laws, such students receive 50% discount of their tuition fees while they study together (the first sibling does not receive any discount on the tuition fee while any other siblings who join EUL receive discount on their tuition fees) in order to lighten up the financial burden imposed on families having their children study at the same time. This type of scholarship is granted to students who are enrolled in any of the undergraduate programmes and is not granted when one of the siblings is enrolled in a postgraduate programme.
- Academic scholarships for high-performing students
The EUL offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities and tuition fee discounts that have become a great incentive for students to further their higher education. According to the rules and regulations of the EUL, students may be granted “high academic achievement” scholarship based on their previous semester’s academic standing. The set minimum requirement for students to be granted this type of scholarship is the achievement of CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00. High Academic Achievement Scholarships vary between 25% - 50% discounts of the Academic Semester’s tuition fee depending on the academic achievement (CGPA) obtained.
- Sports scholarships
Apart from the academic scholarships offered to students there are also sports & culture scholarships that may be granted to students depending on students’ success in the sports or culture field chosen and depending on students’ or team’s sports or culture achievements attained nationally and internationally (national & international competitions, tournaments, matches etc.). Sports & Culture scholarships also vary between 25% - 100% discounts of the Academic Semester’s tuition fee based on the achievement obtained.
Important Note: Students need to maintain a CGPA of minimum 2.0 and above to ensure the continuity of their scholarship. Students whose CGPA falls below 2.0 will automatically lose their scholarship and can only obtain it back when the CGPA is 2.0 and above.
