Radiotherapy (Turkish)
The aim of the program is to train qualified assistant health personnel to work in radiation oncology centres and help radiation oncologists. This programme trains students to be able to check the machines and equipment, prepare the protecting glasses and patient’s position mold. They will also gain the knowledge and ability to do simulations and radiation therapy. Radiation therapists work within an interdisciplinary oncology team consisting of radiation technicians, radiation oncologists and medical physicists. Radiation theraphy treatments are usually done in the relevant departments of state and university hospitals. Radiation theraphy treatments are also widely used in the departments of private universities, which are related to radiation therapy.
The medium of instruction is Turkish.
