Aşkın Demiray, the experienced coach of the European University of Lefke (EUL) Table Tennis Team, stated that she has been coaching the EUL Table Tennis Team for 28 years since 1995 and made statements about the EUL Table Tennis Team.

Demiray, expressed that the team, founded in 1995, has achieved many successes and championships so far and added, “Our team has accomplished achievements that are difficult to reach”.

“Our team, which has won many TRNC league and federation cup championships since 1995, has also achieved success in university competitions and won the right to participate in the World University Summer Games,” Demiray stated that they are proud to represent our university in the best way.

“Our team, which won the super league, Türkiye cup, Republic Cup championships in the Turkish league for many years, returned to the Türkiye league, which we took a break during the pandemic period, and became the promotional league, the third league champion and the second league 2nd,” Demiray also added that they are continuing the Türkiye and TRNC league in the 2023/2024 season.

Demiray, who stated that the team was the champion in U15 and U19 male in the 2023/2024 season, expressed that ” We would like to thank EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen, who has never withheld his support to us, and the EUL family who are always with us.”
