School of Nursing
European University of Lefke’s School of Nursing was established in 2014 with the aim of increasing productivity of country’s health services. Accordingly, School of Nursing students get education in different areas in order to become highly qualified professionals in the sector.
Our goal as a school of nursing is to offer the nursing care required to meet human needs at the level of professional standards while also being sensitive to all types of developments and changes that may have an impact on people and human health in everyday life. To prepare professional nurses who can organize, carry out, and assess their work while performing their duties as valuable members of the healthcare team, participate in nursing education, management, and research in accordance with international standards, and keep professional ethical standards in mind as they do so.
Welcome to the European University of Lefke School of Nursing!
Our Nursing Turkish and English undergraduate programmes started to accept students for the first time in the 2014–2015 academic year under the umbrella of the School of Health. Our School, which continues to accept students for undergraduate programmes in Turkish and English as the School of Nursing since the 2022-2023 academic year, is engaged in dynamic, scientific, and enjoyable work with its academicians, staff, stakeholders, and students with the perspective that it is possible to make the world a better place by respecting every living thing in nature.
Global health problems such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the natural disasters experienced have made it clear to everyone that nurses are undeniably at the frontlines of healthcare delivery and their importance. Health is a right for people, the foundation of social justice, and the driving force of economic growth, and the need for the nursing profession to make all this a reality is increasing day by day.
European University of Lefke (EUL) School of Nursing has a rich curriculum of innovative, evidence-based, knowledge, attitudes, and skills to provide accessible, safe, and quality nursing approaches for the individual, family, and community. The fact that our graduates are easily accepted for both clinical work positions and post-graduate education on national and international platforms proves that the path we follow is the right one.
I invite you to join the EUL family with us as we train our students to be proactive, ethical leaders with the skills and competence to deliver quality nursing care in our state-of-the-art basic and advanced professional skills laboratories.
The impact you will have on changing the world through nursing is much greater than you can imagine.
