School of Tourism & Hotel Management
A degree from the School of Tourism and Hotel Management offers a wide spectrum of job opportunities in the tourism sector. Transportation companies, airlines (e.g., air steward/ess, ground services), marine companies (e.g., cruise ships), international hotel chains, tourism operators and travel agencies are only a few of them. There is always a need for managerial candidates who possess a good command of foreign languages, who will produce knowledge, and have the ability and skills to develop and apply this knowledge accordingly.
The European University of Lefke’s School of Tourism and Hotel Management was established in 2007 and started enrolling students for the first time the following year in 2008. The medium of instruction in the school’s two departments; the Department of Tourism Management and the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is English. Both programs are 4 year programs. The fundamental aim of the European University of Lefke’s School of Tourism and Hotel Management is to train qualified and skilled tourism labour force who can contribute to the development of the tourism sectors of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkey and other countries.

Dear students,
The European University of Lefke’s School of Tourism and Hotel Management has been offering a modern, contemporary and successful education program since it was established in 2007. The aim of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management is to prepare intellectually developed experts and qualified workforce that will answer the long term needs of the world tourism sector and its relevant fields.
Students who graduate from our school at the end of the 4-year program will be fluent in at least 2 foreign languages, will be equipped with basic managing and business knowledge will have a firm grasp of how tourism establishments are run or managed, and the necessary knowledge on how to run these establishments. We are inviting you to join us, the European University of Lefke, to open the gates to a successful future and to have a true international education at our world standard campus.
