18 October 2009 - EUL visited Libyan Education Exhibition...
The Libyan Education Exhibition, held between 19-21 October, was a well organized event with students and parents’ participation. There were about 60 educational institutions from 11 countries amongst which UK, USA, Malaysia, New Zealand, Greece, Malta, UAE and Canada.
During the Fair period, EUL staff members Mrs. Günseli Ocal and Mr. Deniz Urfalı visited Dr. Osman Sultan – Director of Colleges at the Technical Cooperation Office and had a really positive discussion regarding the things that can be done for possible collaborations between Libyan and TRNC Universities. They also visited Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al Husn – General Undersecretary at Libya Committee for Education and Scientific Research Secretariat of General People’s. During our visit, they have requested the accreditation of TRNC Universities by the related Ministry and they received a really positive feedback from Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al Husn regarding this issue.
