Palestinian Embassy Officials, Undersecretary Mr. Nabil Alsarraj and Counselor Mr. Mohammed Shakoora paid an official visit to the European University of Lefke on October 19th, 2009.
Mr. Shakoora being an EUL graduate paid a visit to the EUL campus for the first time after graduation dating back to the Academic Year 1999/2000. During the site seeing tour, Mr. Shakoora specified the noticeable investments and positive changes within the campus.
The visit started with a small campus tour, meeting various Palestinian staff and students and ended with a detailed discussion at the Rectorate. Both parties agreed that the relations between Palestine and the European University of Lefke were extremely important and that with the right type of promotional activities the number of Palestinian students will improve in a short period of time.
