Students who enroll to study at the European University of Lefke in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are required to obtain only a Turkish Transit Visa from the related Turkish Embassies or Consulates in order to travel to North Cyprus.
Students should hold a Turkish Transit Visa, the EUL formal acceptance letter and the EUL payment receipt in order to travel to North Cyprus. TRNC Visa is given to International Students upon their arrival at the TRNC customs.
VISA PROCEDURES:
Students should be fully aware that there are certain criteria they must meet while applying for a Turkish Transit Visa. The step by step procedures are as follows:
Each representative sends student applications and documents to the University. If and when their application is accepted we will issue a letter of conditional acceptance to the student and send it to the representative.
With the conditional acceptance letter the student must send half of the tuition fee payment to the University account also done by the representative. When we receive this amount we will issue the student a letter of acceptance and official receipt including a student number.
During this period the University sends a letter to the Turkish Embassy including the students and the representatives’ name. This will help both the student and the representative obtain the necessary visa.
The student then applies to the Turkish Embassy for the visa by forwarding the following documents:
a) Acceptance Letter
b) University Receipt
c) Original Passport
d) Passport Photocopy
Visa Requirements:
