Dean’s message

Dear students,

You are all welcome among us. We know that; you are happy, you are proud, you are enthusiastic and excited. We know that you are filled with the desire to live the sense of security, peace and serenity where justice respects human rights and treats relevantly as the core values of the law. This is what it’s like to be active in law.

It is not only your lawfulness that will make you a lawyer, but also the fact that you are equipped with knowledge and culture of law. You will have the rightful honor and the proudness for the broadness of your legal education, and you will find that this knowledge has given you an important responsibility in every aspect of society.

We must comprehend that law is a problem solving field, not a source of problem. That is why we carry out our educational activities with an approach that allows students to see and solve legal problems ahead of time. We will then meet with you in an environment where you will gain protective jurisdiction. When legal problems arise, we will observe the development of your ability to solve it over time.

Subsequently, the lawyer whom is not only satisfied with the comprehension of the rule of the law, but also is aware of the spirit, purpose and source of the rule of law; will have the ability to reason, to be conscious of the needs of social life; to be able to analyse society coherently and examine the social psychology of various peoples. Ultimately, they will possess vast and expansive knowledge as well as general curiosity and understanding toward every aspect of life.

In the future, it is necessary to internalize the values of justice, equity, equality, humanitarianism, legal security as well as legal techniques of persons who will be employed in various legal professions. This is due as the internalization of these values and, is of great importance in the name of independence and neutrality of the judiciary. In our faculty, special emphasis is given to the lessons in which these values are taught that lead to the formation of legal cultures.

Dear students, this Faculty belongs to all of us. I salute all of you with the wish that you will have a valuable academic life that you will accumulate unforgettable memories.
