EUL is ranked in the 851-900 band in the QS World University Rankings 2026

QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) is an internationally recognised UK-based organisation that ranks higher education institutions worldwide and provides an audit service by providing in-depth information about the strengths and weaknesses of institutions. The QS World University Rankings is one of the most prestigious rankings in the field of higher education, announced annually by QS after evaluating universities globally based on transparent academic criteria. This ranking is recognised as a reliable source in higher education, as it is based on objective criteria that are widely accepted. Consequently, inclusion in the ranking is considered a strong indicator of a university’s quality of education and research, ensuring that it is recognized as a respected and prestigious educational institution not only at the national level but also on a global scale.
For the first time in its history, the European University of Lefke has successfully entered the “QS World University Rankings 2026”, announced by QS. Among the 1,501 universities listed out of 8,467 evaluated, EUL is ranked in the 851-900 band worldwide. This achievement will not only enhance the institution’s prestige but also provide our students and graduates with a competitive advantage in their professional lives on an international level.
