MASTER’S ADMISSIONS GUIDE
1. Admissions Criteria
All applications undergo vigorous screening and evaluation to ensure all applicants qualify in the respective field of interest.
2. Admissions Quota
The admission quota is not fixed in advance, and information pertaining to the number of applicants or the overall acceptance rate remains confidential.
3. Eligibility
Applicants must fulfil the following requirements in accordance with the Higher Education Law of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Article 8 (Law Nos. 65/2005, 21/2008, 40/2009, 23/2017 and updates from 28.08.2024) {Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Yükseköğretim Yasası (65/2005, 21/2008, 40/2009 ve 23/2017 Sayılı Yasalar)} https://yodak.gov.ct.tr/yasa-ve-tuzukler/tuzukler.html and meet the departmental admissions requirements in accordance with the Field Criteria for Master’s Degree Programmes by Senate Decision (as of the 2022–2023 Spring Semester) {Senato kararı ile Yüksek Lisans Programları Alan Kriterleri (2022-2023 Bahar Dönemi itibarıyla)}:
- Applicants with qualifications from related fields may be considered for admission with foundation courses applied.
- Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s programme before the class commencement date provided in the conditional acceptance letter.
- Applicants should expect to complete a bachelor’s programme before the class commencement date provided in the conditional acceptance letter.
- Applicants’ age is subject to consideration, but is not solely a contributing factor to the admissions decision.
4. Master’s Programmes Admission Requirements
Required documents:
- Completed EUL Postgraduate Application Form
- Copy of international passport
- Copy of ID card
- Bachelor’s degree diploma, transcripts
- Certified English translation of all qualifications (if original not in English)
- English language certification or applicants can sit for the English proficiency test upon arrival
English language proficiency minimums:
- TOEFL iBT ≥ 72
- IELTS ≥ 6.0
- IGCSE/GCE “O” Level ≥ Grade “B”
