A meaningful donation from the EUL Psychology Club

As part of its 2025–2026 activities, the European University of Lefke (EUL) Psychology Club once again came together to raise awareness on an important issue. Continuing its annual tradition of charity fairs, the club’s executives and members organized this year’s awareness fair within the scope of World Disability Day.
As in previous years, the Psychology Club members prepared food with their own efforts and offered it for sale at the fair for a good cause. The charity fair, supported by donations from all volunteer participants, continued throughout the day accompanied by musical performances by club members. The strong participation in the event was a source of pride for the students who took an active role in organizing it.
The donations collected were delivered to the Cyprus Turkish Orthopaedic Disabled Association, which has been working since 1982 to ensure that people with disabilities can participate fully and independently in all areas of society. The Association’s President, Günay Kibrit, met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Beliz Köroğlu, advisor to the EUL Psychology Club, and Psychology Department Instructor Dilem Öke at the Cyprus Turkish Orthopaedic Disabled Association, where they evaluated this meaningful initiative carried out by the EUL Psychology Club and exchanged ideas for future activities.
