A Protocol has been signed between EUL and GAU

A protocol has been signed between the European University of Lefke (EUL) and Girne American University (GAU) to strengthen academic cooperation. The signing ceremony, held at the European University of Lefke, was attended by EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and GAU Rector Prof. Dr. Serdar Yurtsever, along with delegations from both universities.
The protocol covers the promotion of academic staff and student exchange between the two institutions, the development and the diversification of joint research activities, the mutual participation of academic staff and students in events, and the fostering of a sustainable and effective communication environment to support long-term collaboration opportunities between the parties.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, European University of Lefke Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen stated that, alongside their core mission of education and teaching, universities enhance their social and scientific contributions through strong collaborations with their stakeholders. He expressed his belief that the signed protocol would bring significant benefits to both institutions. Yükselen noted that within the framework of this cooperation, academic interaction between the universities would be strengthened, joint studies in education would be developed, and activities related to scientific research and project development would be supported. He added that the new opportunities created through the protocol would contribute to strengthening a high-quality education and research environment, and concluded by thanking all stakeholders involved and wishing that the collaboration would be beneficial for both universities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Girne American University Rector Prof. Dr. Serdar Yurtsever emphasized that academic collaborations enhance quality standards in higher education, stating: “This protocol we have signed with EUL will offer multifaceted opportunities for students and academics. Within the scope of our joint work across many fields, we will carry out scientific, artistic, and cultural projects.” Yurtsever also thanked Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and expressed his hope that the protocol would be beneficial for both institutions.
