A Seminar on “Carrying the Injured on Earthquake” held at the European University of Lefke

The School of Health Services at the European University of Lefke (EUL) hosted an important seminar aimed at increasing awareness in the field of healthcare. Held at the EUL Cinema Hall, the seminar titled “Casualty Transport During Earthquakes” provided up-to-date information on emergency response, particularly for students studying healthcare and participants interested in emergency intervention.
“In the seminar, casualty transport techniques were shared”
During the seminar, Dr. Sinan Yenal shared detailed insights on injury transport techniques during natural disasters such as earthquakes. Emphasizing that proper transport methods are vital for both the health of the injured and the safety of rescue teams, Yenal reinforced his points with practical demonstrations.
Drawing attention to critical topics, Yenal stated: “Events like these not only raise awareness of emergencies but also help equip future healthcare professionals by combining theory with practice. This prepares students to respond effectively in urgent scenarios. Being conscious and prepared for unexpected disasters such as earthquakes is one of the most crucial steps in saving lives.”
The seminar attracted great interest from students and participants.
