“Career Day” Organized by EUL School of Tourism and Hotel Management

The School of Tourism and Hotel Management at the European University of Lefke (EUL) organized a Career Day event at the EUL Cinema Hall. The event hosted speakers from Concorde Hotel, including Deputy General Manager Haluk Erim, HR Chief Nilay Şener, Sous Chef Bayram Kara, Bars Supervisor Javid Mollazade, and HR Staff Member Abubakar Mustapha.
Haluk Erim, Deputy General Manager of Concorde Hotel, shared his personal career journey in the hospitality industry, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, adaptability, and lifelong learning for a successful career in hotel management.
As part of the Career Day, students had the opportunity to meet with other managers from Concorde Hotel, gaining insights into working conditions in the profession, the benefits of internships, and various aspects of the hospitality industry. The event also provided a valuable chance for students to learn about different departments within hotel operations and to establish professional connections.
Following the presentations, hotel representatives interacted with students in a Q&A session, offering useful advice on internships, recruitment processes, and daily hotel operations, while answering questions from participants.
