The 2nd Dentmoment Seminar was organized by the Faculty of Dentistry and the Dentistry Club at the European University of Lefke (EUL). The seminar began with an opening address by Prof. Dr. Pervin İmirzalıoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, who stated that this special occasion was an important opportunity both to reflect on the profession’s accumulated experience from the past and to evaluate goals for the future.

The 2nd Dentmoment Seminar continued with a talk session featuring guest speaker Dr. Dt. Yalçın Ergir, widely known as the “Dream Dentist.” In his address, Ergir shared many of his academic experiences as an orthodontist and personal reflections from his student years through to his 45th year in the profession, speaking as an individual who approaches every moment of life with gratitude.

In his speech, Dr. Ergir described himself as an “Infinite Orthodontics Student,” emphasizing his deep sense of belonging to the profession and sharing his philosophical approach that offers a different perspective on dentistry. He stressed that medicine is not merely a field of technical practice but also an art of understanding and connecting with people. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Yalçın Ergir drew attention to his interests in sports and music, providing participants with a rich learning experience in terms of personal development as well.

The experiences and observations from his professional life shared by Ergir were followed with great interest by the students, and his talk concluded with a question-and-answer session with the participants.
