European University of Lefke (EUL) Dean of Education Faculty and Turkish Language and Literature expert Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakartal represented the European University of Lefke at the international zoom meeting related to Rome, Ankara and Cyprus on Italy-Ottoman relations, which is one of his areas of expertise.

Karakartal’s paper, together with other papers, will be published by the aforementioned Italian institutions.

A limited number of academics from Italy and Turkey were invited to the meeting in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Ankara, the University of Messina in Italy, Casa Italia and the Levantine Foundation. The statement of Karakartal, who attended the meeting as a lecturer of the TRNC European University of Lefke and explained Italian-Turkish dictionaries and grammar books in the historical process, will be published in a book by the aforementioned Italian institutions together with other papers.
