EUL Digital Game Design students continue to make a difference
The team members stated that they developed a strategic card game in which players try to save the world from an alien invasion within 10 minutes. They explained that the game is based on placing the right card in the right position and making quick decisions, adding that they aimed to reflect the theme’s sense of “time running out” through the 10-minute gameplay duration.
The competition, a large-scale Game Jam that brought together students, programmers, designers, and creative producers interested in game development, took place over 48 hours in an environment where ideas were transformed into games and creativity and productivity were put to the test.
In the previous year, at the GAME JAM competition organized by ODTÜ KALTEV, a team composed of Digital Game Design students- including Duygu İrem El and Melaniya Dmitriyenko- and EUL Software Engineering students achieved first place.
