The Faculty of Communication Sciences at European University of Lefke (EUL) organized an orientation day for newly enrolled students in its programs. The event, themed “We Are in Communication with Our New Students,” provided general information about the university and the faculty.

As part of the “We Are in Communication” event, which was attended by faculty members and all students enrolled in the faculty programs, projects from the 2022/2023 student work exhibitions were also showcased.

In her speech to new students during Orientation Day, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca, said, “First of all, I congratulate you for choosing our university and our faculty. Our faculty offers five programs: Digital Game Design, New Media and Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, Visual Communication Design, and Radio, Television and Cinema. The language of instruction is English, which opens up opportunities for you to work anywhere in the world after graduation. In this regard, we aim to make you ‘universal.’ In line with this goal and with the advancements in technology, we are continuously updating the laboratories, technical facilities, and practical spaces within our faculty.”

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca also provided information on the course registration system, online education tools, the student information system, and student advisory services.

The “We Are in Communication” event continued with the introduction of the EUL Media Club, during which the club’s president and members provided new students with information about the club.

The event, organized by the Faculty of Communication Sciences and attended by all faculty members, concluded with a cocktail reception.
