The “White Coat Ceremony and Oath Ceremony” for the 2025–2026 Academic Year graduates was held by the Faculty of Health Sciences at the European University of Lefke (EUL). The ceremony organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Serpil Ünyayar, faculty members, students, and their families. The ceremony began with a moment of silence followed by the National Anthem.

In her opening speech at the ceremony, Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Serpil Ünyayar addressed the students, saying: “Today is an extremely meaningful day for all of us. We are at an important turning point symbolizing your transition from pre-clinical education to practice. At the same time, today is the day you undertake the privilege of touching people’s lives along with the great responsibility that comes with it. I welcome you all with great pride and happiness to the Faculty of Health Sciences White Coat and Oath Ceremony. This ceremony is not only a beginning, but also a very special moment in which your professional identity begins to take shape. Dear students, as future healthcare professionals, you will contribute not only to the health of individuals but also to the health of society. We sincerely believe that you will carry this important responsibility in the best possible way.” Ünyayar concluded her speech by emphasizing that they would always stand by the students throughout this meaningful journey and congratulated the graduates.

The ceremony concluded with the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and faculty members presenting the students with their white coats, followed by each department reciting its own professional oath.
