Oath Ceremony Held for EUL Faculty of Health Sciences Graduates

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the European University of Lefke (EUL) held a “White Coat and Oath Ceremony” for its 2024–2025 academic year graduates. The ceremony was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Serpil Ünyayar, other faculty deans, academic staff, students, and their families. It began with a moment of silence, the Turkish National Anthem, a brief musical performance, and opening speeches.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Serpil Ünyayar stated “This important day marks your transition from pre-clinical education to clinical health sciences. At this year’s White Coat Ceremony, I welcome you with immense pride and joy. Today represents a symbolic passage in your journey—from classroom to clinic, from theory to practice, from student to intern professional. On this path, you will encounter illness, pain, and uncertainty, but you will also witness resilience, healing, and hope. All of this will shape you into skilled and qualified healthcare professionals of the future.
Wear your white coats with humility and pride. Let them remind you not only of the science you practice, but also of the humanity you are here to serve. Congratulations, Class of 2025. Today, we stand beside you with great confidence in the future you will build.” and congratulated the graduates.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of white coats to students by the dean and academic staff, followed by each department’s students reciting their professional oaths.
