Oath Ceremony Held for Graduates of the EUL Faculty of Dentistry

The European University of Lefke (EUL) held a Professional Oath Ceremony for the graduates of its Faculty of Dentistry for the 2024–2025 Academic Year.
The ceremony, organized by the Faculty of Dentistry, was attended by the Dean, academic staff, and the families of the graduates. Marking the graduates’ first official step into their professional careers, the event began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, followed by opening speeches.
Delivering the opening address, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Pervin İmirzalıoğlu expressed her pride and joy in sharing this special day with the third cohort of EUL’s dentistry graduates. She emphasized that dentistry is a unique health profession that requires a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application, carried out with high dedication and discipline. Addressing the graduates, Prof. Dr. İmirzalıoğlu stated:
“You are now professionals who will bear the responsibility for your patients. With your knowledge and skills, you will contribute to the oral and dental health of society and directly impact individuals’ quality of life. This profession also demands empathy, ethical values, compassion, and strong communication skills. We are confident that the education you received at our faculty has laid a strong foundation for these principles.”
The ceremony continued with a speech by Osama Sameer Mahmoud Jaradat, the top graduate of the faculty, who also placed his name plaque on the graduation log alongside the dean.
The event proceeded with the presentation of white coats by faculty members to all graduates. It culminated with the graduates taking their Professional Dental Oath, led by Dean İmirzalıoğlu, officially marking their entrance into the dental profession.
