Research Projects Output of EUL

In line with its Strategic Plan 2023-2027, the University is constantly increasing its visibility and outreach and consolidating its position as a proactive pillar in North Cyprus’s economic development and in the provision of knowledge to its research stakeholders, including the Government, industry, and society. EUL is continuously striving to consolidate public exposure through traditional and new media to better serve its wider community and stakeholders. In this vein, the University continues to embrace Open Science practices and principles with the incentive support of TÜBİTAK for the Open Access publications of EUL Researchers.

TÜBİTAK provides direct financial support for open access publications through transformative agreements with major international publishers like Springer Nature and Wiley. These “read and publish” agreements allow corresponding authors affiliated with participating Turkish institutions to publish their articles open access without paying Article Processing Charges (APCs).

The fees are covered by the national agreement, which operates on an annual quota system. This support applies to both hybrid and fully open-access journals.
