Child Development

The Bachelors degree of child development is aims to prepare students who are interested in learning about young children (from infancy through puberty) and the main family, cultural, peer, educational, and social situations in which they live. The study of children’s cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and behavioral development over time is known as child development theory. Theories aid in our understanding of how kids grow and learn. They inform our instructional strategies and are used to forecast future behavior. Child development degree holders can continue their careers both academically, and private and public sectors in institutions such as schools, hospitals and clinics, community centers, early care and education organizations.
