A conference on “Cognitive Behavioral Therapies” was organized by European University of Lefke Dr. Fazıl Küçük Education Faculty Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department.

Psychologist Deniz Erkal and Psychologist Selen Üstüner, the founders of Nicosia Cognitive Behavior Therapy Center, attended the conference and provided explanatory information about Cognitive Behavior Therapies to the students.

What kind of training processis necessary to be a therapist was shared with the students.

The guests, who are Cognitive Behavior Therapists, shared with the students the place of Cognitive Behavior Therapy among today’s therapy practices, the ways of working and the training process to be a therapist. The speakers, who drew attention to negative automatic cognitions and the negativities they cause in our lives, made an interactive presentation with the students. After the presentations, the conference ended with a question and answer session.
