European University of Lefke (EUL) Social and Cultural Activity Centre and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Club organized a seminar themed “Action Areas and Applications of Engineers in the Biomedical Sector”. Biomedical Engineer from T.R.N.C Ministry of Health Dr. Ali Işın attended the seminar as a speaker.

Biomedical Engineers follow the latest technology in the health sector in the world in the best way and ensure the continuity of services without any problems.

In his speech, Işın informed students about Biomedical Engineering to the students and conveyed detailed information on biomedical engineers’ fields of study and what differentiates it from other fields of engineering. Işın also said that Biomedical Engineers, who are the authorities of design, development, production and maintenance of medical devices, which have become the most important actor of health sector follow the latest technology in the health sector in the world and in the T.R.N.C in the best way and ensure the continuity of services without any problems.

In the seminar program which was held interactively with the questions of the students, Işın also discussed in detail the topics such as clinical engineering, medical imaging, biomedical instrumentation and surgical robotics, which are the sub-headings of Biomedical Engineering.
