Thus, the department focuses on how every organisation’s success depends on its ability to recruit, motivate and retain high-quality staff. HRM is also about the relationship between employers and employees, and how people are managed in the workplace. This covers areas such as recruitment and selection, training and developing, and managing conflict at work.
