The Council of Ministers of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with a view of preventing the spread of Corona Virus(Covid-19), has decided to apply a night-time curfew between January 17, 2021 from 22:00 and January 25,2021 until 05:00.

Within this context, all individuals, with the exeption of private sector personnel who are permitted to work addressing basic needs as well as public sector personnel who provide crucial services (police, fire department, municipalities, civil defense, health workers and district offices) are forbidden to leave their residences between 22:00-05:00.

Individuals, exept for those who are exempt from the curfew, will be able to leave their residences with a permit document which they will obtain by applying to the police stations in case of emergency.

All members of the public are urged to adhere with the decisions. Those who violate the conditions will be subject to legal prosecution.
