European University of Lefke’s (EUL) orientation activities of the 2018-2019 academic year are continuing with the participation of newly registered students and their families.

Under the framework of the orientation days which is sponsored by Telsim, “Cyprus Culture Night” was held.

Tastes specific to Cyprus Culture were offered

Cyprus Culture Night which was held under the framework of orientation program created the opportunity of getting information about Northern Cyprus and Cyprus Culture to the newly registered students. In the course of the event, tastes specific to Cyprus Culture were offered and Cyprus Fold Dances were performed by Lefke Municipality Folk Dances Crew and Mediterranean Culture and Arts Association (AYDER).

Dances of “Henna Night” and “Pitcher” were performed

In the event which the specific dances of Cyprus named “Henna Night” and “Pitcher” attracted intense attention, students had the chance to join the dances which were accompanied by cultural songs. The program also included “Nostalgic Fashion Show” reflecting the Cyprus Culture.
