Apart from providing the possibility of practice to the students of Radio Television and Cinema Department with the studios equipped with the latest technology, TV EUL, the application TV channel of European University of Lefke (EUL) produces programs to be published in the national TV channels of T.R.N.C. Within the scope of active practices towards the sector, “A Pinch of Culture” program which is produced by TV EUL has started to be telecasted in BRT 1.

The program offers the opportunity of knowing the dishes and cultures of different cultures

The TV program titled “A Pinch of Culture” which is directed and produced by TV EUL, is broadcasted every week with the participation of EUL students coming from various countries of the world, at the homes of families from the Lefke region. In the program, Cypriot culture and cuisine and food prepared by students representing their own countries are presented while cultural conversations and music give a novel touch to the program.

Students have active tasks in the culture program of EUL

Apart from offering the opportunity to introduce the diversity of food and beverages of various countries, A pinch of culture program displays the multicultural structure of the European University of Lefke. The production of the program which hosts students from countries such as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Nigeria as guests, is conducted with the active participation of the students of Radio Television and Cinema Department. Students who take on an active task in the active practices towards the sector have the opportunity of making practices with such projects.

The audiences who are interests the culture programs can watch “A pinch of Culture” program on BRT 1 during summer Wednesdays at 4.00pm, Fridays at 8.00pm and Saturdays at 10.00 am.
