EUL Academician Assistant Professor Dr. Samet Biricik Published Seven Articles in Prestigious Scientific Journals
European University of Lefke Electrical and Electronic Engineering academician, Assistant Professor Dr. Samet Biricik, has published seven articles in sixteen months in international journals including; IEEE Transaction of Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transaction of Industrial Informatics, IET Power Electronics, Electric Power Components and Systems, International Journal of Electronics, and Physics of Plasmas.

Biricik, whose projects are generally on Reactive Power Compensation, harmonics, inverters based on power supply, and Power Electronics, stressed that his work was co-operated with scientists from the University of Texas in USA and Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. Biricik stated that the important thing in publishing a scientific paper is the impact factor and the references given to the publications over the long term rather than quantity, and added that he is committed to his work in this direction. He also expressed that as EUL academician, he is proud of publishing in the journals which has 7 impact factor in engineering field.
Biricik stated that he is currently working with the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland, the University of Texas in the USA and the Shibaura University of Technology in Japan and added that he will start working with the University of Johannesburg and Florida State University in 2018.

Biricik stated that European University of Lefke attaches great importance to international collaborations and conferences and added that in this perspective, EUL provides all incentives to them as academicians. Biricik finally stated that he will attend IECON 2017 that will take place in Beijing, the capital of China in the following week, POWERENG to be held in Qatar in April 2018, and Washington, DC, the capital of the United States in the second half of 2018 to share and observe the latest studies on site.
