EUL students made benches for Gaziveren kindergarten

European University of Lefke (EUL) Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education students made benches for Gaziveren kindergarten from wastes under the frame work of the Social Service course.

The Head of the Pre-School Teaching Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağda Kıvanç Çağanağa stated that, with the activities, one of the most important goals is to develop the academic aspects of the students and to train them as individuals who have adopted social responsibility.

Çağanağa: New generations are aimed to educate the next generations as individuals who have the awareness of savings and environmental knowledge

Çağanağa said that with each project designed, a theme is determined first and it is tried to meet the needs within the framework of these themes. Çağanağa said that they discussed the theme of recycling in the palette benches project and that the process of preparing the project started with the provision of waste pallets from the construction. Çağanağa also added that Gaziveren Kindergarten needed a sitting group for the schoolyard.

Gaziveren Kindergarten Principal Nadir Denizer stated that the sitting groups made of pallets met the needs of students, teachers and guests and added that they attracted great attention.
